Chic Downtown Winston Salem Engagement Session

I’m obsessed with this chic downtown Winston-Salem engagement session! Taz and Craig have impeccable style and it showed in their photos! These two were referred to me through word of mouth and I’m so happy we connected!

Downtown Winston-Salem Engagement Photos

I LOVE how classy and timeless engagement photos in the city are! We started their engagement session at one of my favorite rooftop spots in downtown Winston-Salem. Craig wore a classic dark grey suit and Taz wore a white cocktail dress that was SO chic! I loved that her dress had sheer sleeves with tiny rhinestones on them! I’m always a fan of wearing white for engagement photos because it’s a neutral color that you can’t go wrong with. 

Engagement Photos with Champagne 

For the second half of their engagement session, we hit the streets and walked around downtown. We stepped into a local hotel where Taz and Craig ordered glasses of champagne. Between sips of champagne, we took photos right outside the hotel

Bringing a favorite drink or even stopping at a favorite local bar and restaurant is always a fun activity to add to an engagement session! It gives you an activity to enjoy together and also takes your mind off the fact that photos are happening. 

I always encourage my couples to incorporate something they love into their engagement photos. It doesn’t have to be a drink, but it could even be including pets, a certain prop, or a specific location that is part of their relationship (first date spot, favorite hang, etc). I love to capture what makes your love unique and it makes your engagement session one-of-a-kind!
